Push Back Rack Systems

Push-Back Rack Systems can be justified when the average number of pallets per product exceeds 5. A greater number of lanes within each system increases the frequency of rotation and utilization of space. The greater number of pallets per SKU, the deeper the recommended length of bays. This increases pick faces per bay in comparison to one SKU for Drive-In.

Excel Storage uses 3D carts (FOB New Market Ontario Canada) exclusively, but can design a system with another brand of carts if you prefer.

Pallets on each Push Back System are stored on moving carts allowing product to be retrieved from an individual lane verses an entire row. Each level is fitted with linked carts which automatically bring the rear pallets forward as the pallet in front is removed.
